RFT70019059: Complaints Resolution and Referral Service (CRRS) and the National Disability Abuse and Neglect Hotline (the Hotline)

by Rose White

The Australian Department of Social Services invites suitably qualified organisations to tender for provision of the Complaints Resolution and Referral Service (CRRS) and the National Disability Abuse and Neglect Hotline (the Hotline).

• The Complaints Resolution and Referral Service (CRRS) assists with the resolution of complaints from users of services under the repealed Disability Services Act (1986) including Disability Employment Services (DES) providers and advocacy services and users of services funded by the Australian Government under the Disability Services and Inclusion Act 2023 (DSI Act) (outside of the NDIS).  The CRRS is a telephony and online form based service.

• The National Disability Abuse and Neglect Hotline (the Hotline) was established to provide a nationally accessible telephone service to report abuse and neglect of people with disability in Australian Government, State and Territory funded services, and to ensure appropriate referral of the reports. People with a disability, parents/carers, advocates, service delivery personnel, and health professionals can use the Hotline.
